Fundraiser Committee
Moved to RVA in 2005 and is here to stay. As a hearing person she is deeply grateful for being welcomed into the Deaf community and for the opportunity to use its beautiful language of ASL. She has a BFA in Sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MFA in Sculpture from Tyler School of Art. Most recently she earned an Associate Degree in American Sign Language - English Interpretation at Reynolds Community College.
Mary is currently teaching classes to both college students and elementary school learners along with continuing her language development in ASL. She enjoys trail hikes with her dog, telling long stories, and drinking hot tea alone and with friends.
