We, the Richmond Virginia Black Deaf Advocates (RVABDA), are proud to host RVA Black Deaf Leadership & Advocacy on April 24 and 25 of 2026 in Richmond, Virginia. We are looking forward to getting many people from our black deaf community and our allies to get together and uplift each other on this powerful weekend of connection, empowerment, and growth. The event theme is "Together We Grow". Together, we'll learn to navigate through personal and professional experiences on our unique journeys. By joining us at this event, you will discover the latest insights, attend inclusive workshops, panel discussions, get inspired, build success, and more!

Early bird tickets ends on January 17, 2026
At the door registration is limited on a first-come, first served basis
Raffle tickets for prizes are available to purchase during the event
Food trucks will be present during lunch break for purchase
Light refreshments will be available during the event for purchase. If you purchased an early bird ticket. You will receive a one-time complimentary refreshment ticket

Children are welcome to attend. Child care is not provided, please make your own arrangement if needed. We ask you to keep a close eye on your child for the duration of the event and social settings outside of the event. Notice: For age 13-17, please purchase the add-on ticket for each child when you purchase your ticket. For ages 12 and under it is free. If you bring a child and did not register, we will ask you to pay at the door fee for the child.
